but i sure wish the ratio of good things for action-takers to good things for let-it-come-to-me-ers were higher.
higher than one, for instance, might be a start.
does it sound as if i’m eating sour grapes? i am. but i’m pushing 50. so i’ve earned that right.

Well, both
I think they come to those who take action as well.
…and those very few extremely lucky people who do nothing and have everything (or even just some things) fall right into their lap.
But I also think good things are appreciated more if you have to work a little for them, so it’s alright if I’m not one of those super lucky people.

waiting is in action, if it’s done mindfully.
I agree with what callmequell said…but I will add one thing to it…whichever you choose to do, rather is acting or waiting…be determine and resolute or else you just wasting time.
