Xanga Karaoke Night
I was sitting around drumming my fingers to ‘Hitohira no Hanabi‘, when I saw a pulse from SonyChak about how he was listening to songs and he’d love to karaoke. This just gave me a great idea.
All Xanga people who like at least one of the following:
- Meeting other Xangans
- Singing
- Watching other people try to sing
- Being social
- Having fun
- Oxidative Respirationshould get together for a Xanga Karoke Night! Everyone should head to the nearest major city that offers karaoke, and partake. Since karaoke is, by nature, an activity that gets more fun the more people are involved, this is a win-win situation for everybody. So we just need to figure out a date for everyone to go out and sing, and then arrange places to meet for major cities!
Please recommend this! We need exposure in order for us to find people near every major city.
Please also state some cities near you when you comment.

i was going to go to vegas for new year’s, and was trying to get xangans to meet me up there. plans scratched, but i believe there’s a xanga ski trip in the works! you should come, if distance/time/money permits.

Or you could try to get people to record their voice/make youtube videos with them singing a song and post it on Xanga! It wouldn’t be a contest but It’d be fun to see.

The closest “major” city is 4 hours away from me. I’m currently living in a town with a few thousand people… So will me singing into my laptop in my room suffice?

I can get to Chicago in 4.5, Toronto in 5/6ish, DC in 7, Columbus in 1.5/2, Cincinnati in 2, Dayton in 1/1.5, Cleveland in 2.5/3…. So I’m up for anything.

Karaoke is pretty big in Miami where I’m at, but probably not as enthusiastic as it is in Tokyo! I’ll only get up there if I’m drunk enough tbh… I’m shy.

There is the little dive bar and this guy who had to have gone to school with Jesus because he’s THAT old… I think he’s among the only karaoke folks left in town. The rest were replaced with Folgers Crystals. Thus far, no one has noticed. (Las Vegas)
